1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Career Sail Singapore, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Use, as well as our Privacy Policy.

2. Account Registration

  • Users must provide accurate and truthful information when registering an account.
  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Users must ensure that all job postings, applications, and interactions comply with applicable laws and ethical standards.
  • Users are prohibited from posting fraudulent, misleading, or offensive content.
  • Users must verify job listings and employer credentials independently before engaging in employment discussions.

4. Job Posting and Employer Obligations

  • Employers must provide accurate and legitimate job postings.
  • Employers must not discriminate against applicants based on age, gender, sex, race, religion, nationality, or any other protected characteristic, in compliance with TAFEP Singapore.
  • Employers must not request sensitive personal information such as NRIC, passport numbers, or financial details from job seekers.

5. Platform Usage Restrictions

  • Users may not engage in unauthorized data scraping, hacking, or other activities that compromise the security of the platform.
  • Users may not use the platform for illegal, abusive, or unethical purposes.
  • Users must not impersonate other individuals or misrepresent their identity.

6. Data Protection and Privacy

  • We take privacy seriously and comply with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
  • Users’ personal data is stored securely using third-party cloud services such as AWS.
  • We use Google Analytics to track website usage trends and improve our services.

7. Listing Policy

Employers are responsible for ensuring that all job listings comply with Singapore laws and adhere to ethical hiring standards.

  • Job listings must not include any sexually explicit, adult-oriented, or illegal content.
  • Posting jobs related to escort services, prostitution, or any form of sexual solicitation is strictly prohibited.
  • Employers must not post job listings for illegal activities, including but not limited to:
    • Drug trafficking or sales
    • Unlicensed financial services
    • Human trafficking or exploitation
    • Pyramid schemes or deceptive marketing
    • Sale of counterfeit goods
  • We reserve the full rights to remove and/or amend any job listing that violates our policy without prior notice.
  • Repeated violations may result in account suspension or permanent removal from the platform.

8. Refund Policy

All credit purchases on Career Sail Singapore are final and non-refundable.

  • Employers must review and confirm their purchase before proceeding with credit transactions.
  • Once credits are purchased, they cannot be refunded, exchanged, or transferred.
  • Career Sail Singapore does not provide refunds for unused or expired credits.
  • If a job listing is removed due to a policy violation, no refunds will be provided.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Career Sail Singapore is a platform that connects job seekers and employers but does not guarantee the legitimacy of job postings.
  • Users are solely responsible for verifying job opportunities and employer credentials before engaging in discussions or transactions.
  • We are not liable for any employment decisions, hiring disputes, or damages resulting from interactions on our platform.
  • Users assume full responsibility for any risks associated with using our platform.

10. Disclaimer and User Responsibility

  • Career Sail Singapore does not vet or endorse job listings and employers. Users must conduct their own due diligence before proceeding with any job application.
  • We do not guarantee job placements, interview opportunities, or responses from employers.
  • Users are fully responsible for their own data and any information they choose to share on the platform.
  • We are not liable for any consequences arising from users sharing sensitive or confidential information.

11. Changes to Terms of Use

  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time.
  • Changes will be communicated through our platform, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Singapore.
  • Any disputes or legal matters shall be resolved in Singapore courts.
